Collect data
Create practical, accessible ways to gather research data from participants and communities.
About
Northern Research Hub is focused on building shared digital infrastructure for research work across the region.
We are creating a digital platform where researchers and partners can collect data, publish research, and share findings. The Hub is growing alongside the projects and people it serves, making research easier to find, understand, and connect with.
Our purpose
Practical tools for collecting data, communicating research clearly, and sharing knowledge.
Create practical, accessible ways to gather research data from participants and communities.
Give research projects a clear, accessible home where their purpose, progress, and outcomes can be understood.
Make data, findings, and methods easier to discover and use across disciplines, organizations, and communities.
Partner expectations
The Hub supports responsible research without taking ownership of a partner's work. Every partner remains accountable for the research they conduct, and every proposed project is vetted before it is hosted.
Partner responsibility
Partners are responsible for research design, required ethics approvals, consent, privacy safeguards, data stewardship, and the day-to-day conduct of their work. Participation in the Hub does not transfer that accountability.
Hub vetting
The Hub reviews proposed work and supporting documentation to confirm that appropriate ethical practices and oversight are in place. This vetting complements, but does not replace, a partner's own ethics review, approvals, and ongoing obligations.
